Hi I’m Kevin Cox. I grew up in Oklahoma with two dreams. The first was to play football for the University of Oklahoma, and become a football legend.  Well, it turned out that talent, size and speed were important prerequisites, so dream number one was dashed.  


After a year of moping around with no idea about what I wanted to do, I asked to become an assistant coach for my old high school. I was given a position and I enjoyed coaching football for 4 years.  Even though I was having a fun time, I was broke.


I couldn’t see being broke the rest of my life coaching high school football so I began to wonder what else I could do. I started talking with a childhood friend who was working as a “personal trainer.”  I had no idea what a personal trainer was but I figured if he could do it so could I. So, I met with the gym owner and found myself in the profession of personal training.


Somehow I started getting clients and quickly realized this was a fun job! I was tickled pink to get paid $15 dollars to help someone train and tell them what to do for an hour.


At that point I developed into a giant book worm and seminar junkie. I absorbed all I could about training.  Then something funny happened, while still in college, I became involved in theatre. Having been bitten by the acting bug, I decided to move to California and become a movie star (dream #2).


Armed with only a car trunk full of clothes and books. I rolled into Hollywood having no idea where I was going to live or work but knew I had to make it work. But the movie industry was harder than it looked – much harder.  As I began to realize that Steven Spielberg was not going to kick down my door, I knew that I had to educate myself beyond what I had learned through training certification courses. 


If I wanted to eat and have a roof over my head, I had to learn a lot - the hard way.  I stepped waaaay out of my comfort zone into areas I had little or no experience with.  I became good at sales, marketing, writing, and client service.  


And it all paid off. I built my first six-figure training business. Then I built another six figure training business – and another. I went from training loud mouth frat guys, to movie and television personalities, C-level executives and everyone type in between.


Today, my training business reaches into areas I never dreamed about when I first started back in Oklahoma.  I grew my business from a $15 dollar per session rate to as high as $500 per hour.


I am not saying this to brag or try to impress you. Instead I want to
